Naoko Nina Forrest

Artist / Concept Creator

Naoko Nina Forrest is an artist and concept creator based in Japan.

Through painting, language, and symbolic systems,
her work explores the invisible relationships
between cosmos, nature, and human consciousness.

Her work is not created to explain what is already visible,
nor to describe something.

Rather, it brings forth inner landscapes
that already exist within.

It does not provide answers,
but creates a space where direct perception can emerge.

Her perception is rooted in a deep sensitivity
to structures that exist beyond the visible.

It is not merely something abstract or spiritual,
but is understood as a way of perceiving
the relationships between different layers of existence.

This perspective has been shaped
through her lived experiences across different cultures.

Through living and working in places such as
the United Kingdom, Egypt, and Australia,
this sensitivity has gradually taken form.

Before focusing on her current work,
she was involved in large-scale architectural and design projects
related to urban environments and cultural institutions.

Through this, she developed a way of seeing
the structure of space itself.

This perspective on structure
now forms the foundation of her current work.

These experiences have come together as one,
forming a field known as “R.Planetes.”

R.Planetes is a symbolic system
that integrates astrology, archetypes as patterns of the collective unconscious,
and visual language.

It is not a tool for vague prediction,
but a structure that reads the relationship
between the cosmos and the individual,
activating perception and consciousness.

Her work exists at the intersection
of art, structure, and experience.
